These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://uprightmoving.org and any moving, packing, or labor services provided by Upright Moving (“Upright Moving,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website or booking a move, you agree to these Terms.
Quotes and estimates
Quotes and estimates are provided for planning purposes based on the information you give us (inventory, access, distance, and dates). They are not a final contract until confirmed in writing. Final charges may change if the actual move differs from what was described — for example, added items, stairs or long carries, shuttle requirements, or changes to the move date. We will communicate any change before performing the additional work.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate move details, ensure safe and legal access at both locations, and disclose items that require special handling. Certain items cannot be transported, including hazardous materials, flammables, perishables, plants, and irreplaceable valuables (cash, jewelry, documents). Please transport those yourself.
Liability and valuation
Your move includes basic carrier liability (released value protection) at no additional charge, which covers your goods by weight rather than actual value. Full value protection may be available for an added fee if arranged in writing before your move. Claims for loss or damage must be reported to us in writing within the timeframe stated on your move paperwork. We are not liable for items you pack yourself (“packed by owner”) unless the damage was caused by our negligence, or for ordinary wear consistent with normal handling.
Payment and cancellation
Payment is due as stated on your estimate or invoice. Deposits, if required to reserve a date, will be disclosed in advance. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as early as possible; cancellation terms will be provided with your booking confirmation.

The content on this site is provided for general information and may change without notice. You may not use the site to transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or to interfere with its operation. Third-party links are provided for convenience and are not under our control.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in or serving Parker County, Texas.
